Chloe Jones
Regional Farm Operations Manager

Chloe’s connection to dairy began early, through time spent on her grandparents’ lifestyle block and milking cows from her teenage years. While she didn’t set out with a fixed career plan, those hands‑on experiences sparked an interest in agriculture and led her to study Agriscience at university.
After graduating, Chloe joined Fonterra through the Farm Source Agribusiness Graduate Programme, giving her exposure to the wider dairy system and what happens beyond day‑to‑day farming. From there, she stepped into leadership roles that challenged her early in her career, helping her grow confidence. Today, Chloe works as a Regional Farm Operations Manager, overseeing multiple farms and teams.
Chloe is passionate about changing perceptions of dairy and showing young people how broad and dynamic the industry really is. By staying open to opportunities, and focusing on skill development, young people can build careers that grow with them, just as Chloe’s has. “I’m extremely passionate about the dairy industry – I even wear little cow tag earrings! There’s just so much opportunity here – it’s not just milking cows… it’s everything from managing the budgets, people management, dealing with contractors, buying cows, and so much more.”
